The Flowing Spring is a friendly, cosy country pub in Playhatch, Oxfordshire, that nestles on the edge of the Chilterns just minutes from Reading, Caversham, Sonning, Shiplake and Henley-on-Thames.

We offer a wide range of dishes from fresh home-made soups to light snacks, sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, curries, casseroles, fish and chips and pies to scrumptious puddings, all lovingly home-made. We specialise in mouthwatering dishes suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those with intolerances to gluten and lactose. There is always an excellent choice and our meals are so scrumptious we invite everyone to try them! 

We were awarded South Oxfordshire CAMRA Winter Pub of the Season 2011/2012. There is a huge garden with streams, a covered balcony and exciting and original events happen throughout the year, both inside and out, from live jazz in the garden to charity weekends, a beer festival, barbecues, the annual ferret show, games nights, astronomy nights and many private and corporate events.
